Yuri Bezmenov and Destabilization of Democracy

Circa 2005 there were a few news reports detailing a leaked Pentagon report on climate change. It is somewhat challenging to hunt those down these days. One notes I linked to the story on EZBoard from I think NPR and had access to it before it got hacked by, FBI tells us, a disgruntled former IT employee upset because promises of profit shares or something were lies or the like. But the articles pointed out things like “Denmark may be under water by 2012,” and “It may already be too late.” Years later, having intuited how so-called field intelligence professionals behave when they think no one is watching (badly), I suggested that perhaps the report was leaked with the intention of radicalizing and fearmongering. That is, take Al Gore’s progressive (?) An Inconvenient Truth and push it further, use its own momentum not to actually make changes in how billionaires and multinational corporations operate in order to prevent ecological catastrophes, but to create a path towards…what? F
