Intro The thing we must all keep in mind with regards to weird phenomena is what has been called [science fiction author Arthur C.] Clarke’s Third Law. Here’s all three. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible. Any sufficiently advanced technology    is indistinguishable from magic. Probably, when trying to explain the unexplained, it is best to break it down into parts. So-called mind control or brainhacking is really a suite of methods including good old fashioned PSYOP designed to create a false reality in the head of the person being controlled. One may recall any old show where there were hypnotists. Tell a person to take their clothes off even under hypnosis and most will say no. But tell them they’re getting into the shower to clea

Before 9/11

The preamble. I’m not suggesting anything about  character apart from the following. Truth is, I don’t really know. In part I don’t really know because of the constant maligning that occurs from some billionaires, the GOP, and people who believe the GOP. I am just saying that Bill Clinton is a shrewd politician who cares about his legacy, what history says. I am saying, for example, he wanted to assassinated Sadd Hussein because he wanted to avoid the situation that George W. Bush got us into: One million dead Iraqis and that being Bush’s legacy. Also, I say that both Bill and Hillary Clinton have been accused of things that are not true. But because of that, it makes it harder to evaluate for example what he has to say about relaxing banking regulations, shrinking welfare, the little European wars he did approve and former Secretary of State Clinton’s suggesting that breaking up the banks won’t make us voters happy. I’m just not so sure that a lot of our problems wouldn’t go away if w

Train Commandant Down

He was the youngest of originally thirteen from a Catholic family of German and it would turn out, Scandinavian heritage. Only six made it to adulthood. Having grown up with the stories about that, I had always assumed life was tougher back then. There was a couple of kids killed playing on railroad tracks if I recall correctly, and a car accident. The others were childbirth and newborn disease issues. But I’ve no idea if this was unusual for the time or common. His eldest brother, Phil, who was also the last survivor except him of the seven until a few years back, had been US Army Air Corps in WWII. He was stationed in the Pacific and saw action as a pilot. Dad likewise went the Army route. Being younger he was part of the Cold War. He wound up, as I can recall, at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. There were more stories of basic training but the one that stuck with me was how during grenade exercises, he described how the target was a dummy hanging by a rope or chain and that

Before I get to what you’re possibly already rolling your eyes over, most likely this is because you have been inducted into a cult since birth. It continues through mostly cable news. It’s not always that, for example, what CNN reports is technically false; it’s that what CNN chooses to report on makes you miss something that is more important to you and your family but it doesn’t because it might cause you to, for example, write your Congressperson and demand single payer healthcare. There is an over-abundance of lies that we have all swallowed because Barack Obama or George W. Bush or their aides or the partisan talking heads on cable news utter it. You probably on some level know this but still think being partisan is fine because of peer pressure. Or you think there’s one issue that the other party is “wrong” about—how convenient?—and so you tolerate things like blowing the legs off of little brown children in support of that one issue. Tattoo this inside your eyelids: This is
