A Long, Irritating Story
This is about what prompted the increased Twitter activity of late, starting I think last Tuesday. In order to understand what happened, there are a number of concepts not generally accepted and known in the public sphere that seem to be prevalent in parts of the intelligence community. It seems that this is mostly among a certain breed of contractor or contract employee. The first concept is use of the occult and supernatural as cover. MK/Often, which turned out to be the study of pharmaceutical side effects and cataloging the same, was described by head of CIA technical services Sidney Gottlieb as to do with fortune tellers, ESP, etc. A complete lie to put people—mostly the Soviets—off the scent. There are multiple similar anecdotes, including things like the original appearance of the Men in Black to discredit witnesses of rocket and plane test flights most likely.
